Long time no see, gang!
The job market in Utah is pretty awful, unless you're a lawyer, cardiac surgeon, psychiatrist, or a telemarketer, so I hoped the border to Nevada to be a defense contractor. It puts me further from my son (the only reason I went back to Utah after leaving the USAF), but I'm close enough to drive back every month or so.
Oddly enough, Nevada and Oklahoma are in the same "region" here on CF. O_o
Best thing about being here...I'm a half hour from Hot August Nights!
Here's a reminder:
I just got the carburetor back (still haven't found a shop that compares to the one I had in OKC!), but during the pre-season oil change I found the oil filter bypass valve is blown out (metal fatigue where it was peened together), so I have to wait for Paragon's expensive/slow shipping.

Still a sweet ride!

Thanks guys. Couple more pics. I added splash guards and painted the calipers red. Also have installed white face gauges and a mild to wild foot switch. My favorite mod was the tail lights. Still working on painting under hood parts.

Hey everybody,
I'm looking for someone in the OKC area that has a 1950's or 1960's Cadillac convertible or something similar that is available the night of June 11th and wouldn't mind being a chauffeur. Here's the deal the future wife and I are getting married that evening in OKC and she wants our send off at the end of the night to be a nice photo opp. with a “pretty car”. She wants to use my corvette but since there will be drinking at the reception and I really don't want to worry about drinking and driving, going to jail, and losing my job on my wedding night I thought I'd give this a shot. All you would have to do is show up to the reception near I40 and MacArthur in your nice shiny convertible and drive us back downtown to our hotel. I'm willing to pay you for your time and effort. If you have a car that fits this description and would be willing to do this or know someone who would be please shoot me a PM.
Thanks,
Adam
