Just wondering if anyone knows of a good place to have the steering rack/rack and pinion rebuilt for c5's? N. Fort Worth would be ideal, but I am not opposed to driving the metroplex for this fix.

Don't know about FW but I'd be surprised if Patrick Sparks at Quality Motorsports in Lewisville couldn't help you out

Might also try Texas Track Works in the Hulen area. They do a lot of track vette work and I had them do an alignment and am very happy

Yep, I had TTW do my alignment also. I wasn't sure if they did stuff like that.

Talk to Kyle. He's done suspension, steering, and track prep work on both my C4 and C5 Z06. Tell him James sent you.

Well, just called TTW and they don't do rebuilds onsite but send them out. Right now they don't have anyone to do that.

Try and call Triple F automotive. They might be able to rebuild it.

I've been wanting to swing by that place just to check out what they have there.

I think I will probably just do the deal through RockAuto. That just sucks because it will have shipping time both ways for it, which is what I was trying to avoid.

Glad you tried Kyle first. Give Simple Quick Racing a call in Benbrook and see if he is up for it. He does good work as well.
