Default Best Dallas Corvette service locations

we are moving to east Dallas soon and want to know who is happy with which dealers service dept ?
OR
which dealers service dept to avoid!!!

I read here over the past year about good service managers and techs .... and about some that are a problum to deal with
I would really rather find a dealer that is highly recommended then start with one that folks have had issues with
thanks in advance !
Dave & Cindy
ps we are also looking for a 'Vette club to join !

Grape Vine and Sugarland have big corvette dealers based on this, which another forum member linked on a thread of mine.

Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine. Hands down.

I wouldn't take mine anywhere else if it needed dealer attention.

On opposite sides of the metroplex, roughly 40 miles. Probably 45 minute drive during non rush-hour traffic. Figure 2 hours or so during traffic hours.

DFW metroplex is roughly the size of Connecticut so you might just want to figure out what's close first.

Yes, everything is 20 to 35 miles away, no matter where you live here. Get used to driving some distance to get to things. It's normal here.

Good reputations are
Young Chevrolet - Dallas
Huffines Chevrolet - Plano
Classic Chevrolet - Grapevine

I thought Stonebriar Chevrolet in Frisco would be a good place but they're suspect in my book now.

Not Ft Worth, or Classic Chevrolet.

I have Friendly downtown and Reliable 3 miles from my office (13 miles away, and that commute is the bane of my existence ).

How to know something is far for me:
Can I see it from my roof? Can I walk there? Is it more than minimum fare in Uber?
If the answer to all 3 is "no" then it's far.

Huffines Chevrolet in Lewisville has been my choice for years. I take my C6 ZO6 and C7 to them and they are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They see a volume of Corvettes and I feel that is important knowing they see enough of them to be familiar with the peculiar items. Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine also gets my vote just a longer drive is why I don't use them regularly.

Well there you go. I didn't know there was a Huffines Chevy other than Plano.

The Plano location is the original and a known performance center.

No comment on (un)reliable.

I'd check with Corvette performance shops like LG Motorsports / 21st Century Muscle cars to see if they can do work that you need done. If they will, I'd take it there before any dealer.

Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine did some fine work to repair my car when it was rear-ended. You can't tell it's been in an accident, as it should be. Superb paint blending, hit them up if you insist on a dealer

Friendly for service or warranty work.

LG Motorsports or ADM in Lewisville for performance builds.

Reliable Chevrolet in Richardson has been awesome. And they are mod friendly if you have a warranty.

I would avoid Stonebriar Chevrolet in Frisco at all cost. If my car broke down 25 ft from there, I would pay big money to tow it somewhere else for work. They are that bad.

Yes, it's an older thread...

Planning on dealer service for routine maint items like oil changes, coolant, brake fluid, etc. I'm in Allen so looking for a place close by.

Checking to see if the recommendations for dealers in Richardson, Plano are still good. Anyone have any experience with El Dorado in McKinney?

Thanks!

reliable has been okay with me. Repairs have been good; collision was awful.
I cant recommend Huffines enough.
