Fort Worth Area (NRH) Tint and Paint
Looking to get Ceramic 20% done on the sides and back, and 50% windshield. Prefer someone who has done C6's before, using the vinyl method on the back dot matrix.
Sounds like Lynn Christian used to be the man to see, but I've called a couple times and can't get ahold of him. Does anyone know if he still does tint? Don't really want to drive all the way over to tritek.
Also looking for a recommendation on a good body shop to have tails and side markers painted/tinted.
I'm in North Richland Hills, so the closer the better. Thanks!

Melting Slicks
You know 50% on windshield is not going to pass inspection, right? If that is the case 25% is the legal limit.
Here is the current Tx-DPS tint rules:

FWIW, an tinter with real Corvette experience does not have to cover the rear glass dot matrix with black vinyl.

I don't want just any tint ship. I'm looking for people who have had good experiences somewhere. I've already called a handful of shops and prices range as well as whether they do vinyl or not or they have the specific tint I want.

I went to Technics window tinting. He had 2 locations but it appears the one near downtown Fort Worth is closed (he had discussed it was a long drive). I really wanted 3M product and had a good experience. Sat and talked to the owner through the whole process of the installation. Learned a lot. I only had the side windows done but I had discussed the other windows as projects for later. I recommend at least a phone call to them.

I ended up going to Grand Prairie Audio Tint & Security, Inc. at the recommendation of a friend. They did excellent work, are true car guys, and the owner Craig spent the time to talk to me personally about my wants. They aren't the cheapest but they do quality work.
