Last I heard the event was such a fincancial loss that it was not sustainable. Maybe some other group can take over the event and sponsorships. This would be a great event for Space City CC to take on, if they wanted.

I am totally down for it ! Next weekend ? Do we need sponsors? How about we just meet somewhere, cruise and get a nice Texas meal together

I am not too familiar with Galveston, but the few times I've been there I've loved it.
Do you think it is possible to meet somewhere in Houston, cruise and pick up a nice place for lunch or dinner? We can make this thread a small event organization one, very informal.
Ideas?
