For those of us that have never attended, can you give a basic overview of what to expect?

I googled the event and you have done a great job marketing registration. But not a lot of content on past events.

The largest outdoor Corvette Show in Oklahoma. Vendors, food trucks, Friday Cruise and lots of awards. Both concours and participant judged areas whichever you choose. All money goes to local charities. 12th Annual event!

Yup, that is that the flier shows... We are looking to attend but would like to get a better feel of what to expect.

I am looking for number of cars attended in past?, Anticipated numbers this year? Breakdown of vendors? What is the "cruise"? Is it worth driving 8 hours to attend? If so why?

Is it a Event with lots of different things to see and do or just a "Car Show"?

Not trying to be difficult, We are just trying to plan what events we are doing this year. Always looking forward to something different.

I'm not a picture taker when I go to a show and this one I'm working the PA and handing out awards, we had about 150 cars last year and it depends on the weather as to how many show up. I'll see if I can find someone in our club that took pictures.

Still working on the pictures but the Friday cruise is west on Route 66 to the Thomas P. Stafford Space Museum in Weatherford Oklahoma with lunch at Lucille's a famous Route 66 restaurant.

The event begins on Friday with the cruise. In years past the cruise destination has been to several very interesting places. For example, private car collections with a large variety of cars from brass to muscle to sports and import exotics. One of the best was a cruise West of Oklahoma City to the Stafford Air and Space museum. This destination may happen again this year. The lunch stop is always at one of the local mom and pop quasi famous spots on route 66. The Rock Cafe North of OKC was where the script of the movie Cars was written. The cruise event never disappoints. The 2018 show will be the eleventh year it has been held. For the past five years it has been held in Hafer Park located in Edmond, a suburb North of OKC. The park is a municipal complex with a lake, lots of hard surface parking for the show and two covered pavilions with a preforming arts stage which is used for the Main stage and awards presentations. The show has averaged over 150 corvettes from four states over the past several years. Great fun, great people and great cars. Hope this answers your questions.

Stay in touch and I can give you additional information as things develop. there are many thing to do in the OKC metro including the National Murrah Building Bombing Memorial, National Cowboy Hall of Fame, Bricktown ( Similar to San Antonio's riverwalk), Cattleman's Steakhouse(listed as one of the national top ten steakhouses), and many more interesting places.
