At that time of year, Top Golf in Scottsdale, leave the putter at home and enjoy a beer at the cooled driving range.

I know you know this is our hottest month of the year right? But it's dry in June, July thru September monsoon season brings in some humidity, ...stay thirsty my friend......

Oh and you won't have to worry about making reservations at least, all the snowbirds are gone by then and most locals won't golf in triple digits.

It's been awhile, but the Course at ASU was sponsored and maintained
by Carsten Mfg. Nice course right by the campus. Way up North Valley,
Tom Sneva's 500 club had the fastest golf carts and best beer cart(the beer cart girls too). Estrella used to be a favorite of my brother and I. Any resort in Scottsdale will give you a round of golf with an overnight stay.
The choices are pretty much endless

McCormick Ranch is probably a good tune-up - - - centrally located in Scottsdale with 2 18 hole lay outs . . . .Troon in N. Scottsdale is pricey but a challenge . . .also We Ko Pa out in Fountain Hills is challenging . . also in Fountain Hills, Desert Canyon and Eagle Mountain- nice public courses that have beautiful views and a nice layout for a 10+ golfer.

Star Fire in Scottsdale . . .Wild Fire up by Marriott Desert Ridge . . .Dove Valley and Rancho Manana up in Cave Creek- the latter is really scenic and a fun course.

Hope this helps - - I've played each of the courses listed so shoot me a PM if you want more details . . .not really familiar with courses on the west side of town or down south.
