Last year this was a blast will def drive down from Dallas to do it again. I've raced on the track a lot, but never went around without a helmet and with top off. Kinda a fun change for once.

Got a couple cars registered to attend...Always a nice event...Driving the F1 track, even at a controlled speed, is worth it....

Just registered. So the registration covers entering the car show and the laps? Never been, looking forward to it. Driven the track before but always enjoy cruising around it.

Hotel is full, if anyone had a room booked they no longer need please PM me.

Yep, the registration covers the car show and laps. These laps will be at night I believe, so something different that you may not have done before!

This is my 1st year going and i've already pre-registered. What time do people normally start showing up? I'm trying to get a spot so that I don't have to do much walking (hip issue). I'm not sure if they have special sections for placard/plate holders.

What time is best to arrive on Saturday? Most shows I go to getting there an hour before, which would be 2, gets you a better spot. Is it the same at this event, or is 3pm when they let you enter the parking lot A?

I usually have gotten there shortly after the official start time and still get a decent spot. Obviously if you want the best ones, you should get there before they open at 3, but how early, I don't know.

Looks like forecast is 103-104, is there the ability to go indoors at the track during the show hours to cool off? Also is there any rules against putting up a small personally canopy by your car? Look forward to our first time going, want to be well prepared.

The Velocity Lounge is adjacent to parking Lot A within the Grandstand building...Air Conditioned...Food...Beverages......Rest rooms...Wide span windows over looking the cars...You WILL want to go in here for a heat break during the day.

Not sure about the pop-up canopy rules but there is plenty of space so if you wanted to park off the edges so as not to interfere with other cars or displays you should be fine.

Cars & Coffee map just to give you a general idea of the layout of the site...Ignore the C & C parking fees...Etc....Not sure how The Invasion has it set up....

Folks have put up canopies in years past. Can't see it being an issue this time.
