Depends on what you're looking for
If you want to do mostly car shows/dinners and stand outside your waxed corvette, with matching corvette visor/hat, shirt, and fanny pack, then any of the below:
Sam Houston Corvette Club
San Jac Corvette Club
Space City Corvette Club
Corvette Owners Club of Houston

If you want to hit the strip, track, or streets then the following:
Xcelerate Vettes
Houston Performance Driving <- Cruise/Car meets (non-vette specific)
Speed Advocates - Road rally/gumball (non-vette specific)
Texas Speed Syndicate - Drag (non-vette specific)

If you're under 40 or 50 years old, most corvette clubs won't really suit you

Thanks for the info! I am surely not the stand outside / fanny pack kind lmao!!! I may check out the xcelerate vettes or others that hit the streets!!
I was traveling down 99 a few months back and was passed by like 60 cars going 100mph ....all kinds of cars but plenty of vettes!! It was awesome!
Unfortunately i was in my work car (camry...ughh)! i had it pegged out trying to keep up lol!
and yeah Evo Joe, I'm early 30's so i kinda figured i may be barking up the wrong tree ....

Thanks again to all!!

I figured the 85 in your handle was 1985 (I'm 1986), and you were in your early 30's like me.
The cars on 99 were on their way to the HPD Twin Peaks meet in the Woodlands, and I was probably part of that group you saw, definitely a whole lot of fun
If you're interested in any of those types of events, shoot me a pm, we can exchange numbers and roll out together for the next one

Search out Houston Performance Driving on Facebook if you have it. We are planning another 99 Cruise to Twin Peaks Sunday June 30th.

I used to drive like the younger crowd even when I hit mid 40s until I sold my C6Z. Now I'm turning 51 next month and have barely scratched the surface of what this ZR1 can do. I scared the **** out of my wife a couple of weeks ago when I unleashed the beast for the first time with her in it. Can't say I will be doing that again. Now she's scared to drive it. LOL! So I'm mostly just pussyfooting it around town and only when the sun is shining. Work crap is keeping me from driving it too often, and the new office location has no covered parking.

But I hate standing around my waxed car with Vette paraphernalia unless it's for charity. I'd much rather be out driving.
