AZ/Nevada members. Home prices diving?
Was seriously looking in AZ, got sidetracked temporarily from some health stuff.
While browsing some of the same homes from last YEAR still on the market, lots of price reductions.
Wtih interest going up anyone think prices will tank again out there? Hoping to be out within 6 mos.
Id hope they are coming down they really skyrocketed the last handful of years.
Dont wanna buy at the top. Not quite ready yet but figure within 6 mos Il be buying something where you can actually afford to live.
The other half is looking out here in Ca for her own, tons of price reductions..with interest up almost a point over last year guessing the bubble is about to pop, thank god. All I know this rent is insane, not paying 1 more penny til Im out of here.

I was surprised recently. I had three neighbors recently move away (do I offend?), and my real estate agent told me what they are selling for....
About 30% higher than I figured...

I have two homes in AZ....I dont see anything going down. My mortgage guy said that new home inventory is 8 months out. I just closed on the new home which is only 3 months old and it appraised for 40k higher than when we signed the contract. California people are moving here in droves and driving prices up up up

I left Northern California for Prescott AZ 4 years ago and prices have risen a bit since then but not on a grand scale. The girlfriend is a Realtor here in Prescott and most buyers are coming in from California. If you're finding homes for sale that are dropping their prices, good chance they were overpriced to begin with.

Depends on where you are looking, Scottsdale for instance, specifically north scottsdale ,is still rising. In fact, there appears to be another run with investors buying up properties. Houses are getting offers the day they hit the market again.

I moved from Long Beach to Kingman.I got a home for $283,666. 6 months later same home is $307,000. Brand new builds. 2000 sq ft. 3 car garage. 30 minutes from Laughlin.

As soon as I can sell a few houses I am moving to either Goodyear or Litchfield Park and will only be about 4 miles to Arizona Motorsports Park. I'm hoping to make the December Autocross Event at AMP if the weather cooperates in California over the passes.

It also depends upon price range . . . under $500 is still moving well . . . . $350 and under for nice homes- not flipppers- can still go above asking.
Million dollar plus always takes longer but doesn't stop the right buyer - - especially cash. Wife's a realtor and is staying quite busy (thankfully!)

Moved to Kingman, AZ 3 years ago from Michigan. Prices are low compared to where I came from. Property tax is so low it is a joke compared to the Grand Rapids, MI area. Sales tax a bit high but liveable.
The town is growing and the street car scene is fun with lots of variety. We love it here!

Just talked to a guy today in Boulder City who works BC and Las Vegas market. He says housing inventory is at 1-2 months right now, when it should be at 6-7 here. Vegas just announced avg housing prices breached 300k, which is 2007 levels...first time to break the barrier to the pre-recession levels. Right now, nothing in vegas and surrounding is going down, that's for damn sure. Californians are flooding into Vegas at rampant rates because California is a cesspool...and Vegas people aren't happy about it, or their liberal ideologies which continue to destroy California.

They don't build track houses like they used to because of the last recession mess. Ask the guy in a bc if he has ties to CA
People don't like change, some of this is jealously and they said some of the same things in the 1990's when Las Vegas was the fastest growing city in the country
