Tips for applying Texas registration sticker?

Mine is a new one. It's about 1/3 that size and gray. Barely noticeable. Still way better than the ghastly I-PASS transponder box I had in Illinois.
The StickerShield trick worked perfectly. I was able to get it way down low in the windshield after a few attempts. Still looks awful but what can you do?
