Classic Chevy in Sugarland is the high volume dealer in Houston. The C8 will be there the first week in November.

I'm planning on checking out the C8 in Sugarland, but the early indications are that they wont let you sit in it. It'll be for display only, which I think is stupid. If I am supposed to consider dropping $70k on a car I should be allowed to see if it fits.

If they pull a Kerbeck, they will never be my Chevy dealer.

I think if you fill out a credit app, you should be able to have a seat. If I'm putting a ding in my credit for a pull, I should at least get to check it out the way I want to.
What do you suppose the cost would be for GM to make an interior mock up to put in each dealership ? Just the passenger compartment with no body or running gear.

At the same time, I'd haet to be making a deal on a car with the leather already cracked out because of lookie-lous.

2. If you really want your car to have never been sat in by anyone else, then order one directly from the factory. I do not expect already sold models to be available.
3. For any car that is for sale on the dealer lot? Damn straight I expect to sit in it. I expect to drive it, play with all the controls and anything else I feel like doing to ensure I am happy with my purchase. This is not Ferrari or a Lambo, this is a Chevy. Any car you look at that has not been spoken for and is for sale you should just assume dozens of people have sat in it, driven it, farted on it, whatever.
