Default Scottsdale meet

This past Saturday I cruised around the Scottsdale Rd. and Mayo area looking for cars and found none. Is it still happening ? Wrong location ? I was there around 10 am.

Check the website of Scuderia Southwest, I too attend this event but they have decided to take a couple months off according to the website. They said stay tuned, so I guess/hope they resume soon.

My guess is it will resume after the heat dissipates a bit.

They usually don't take the summer months off, or at least they haven't in the past.
I've though it was a decent turn out even in the summer.

C2 tactical is in the same parking lot, so you can enjoy the car event then go squeeze off a couple hundred rounds at the range, what could be better, cars and shooting? Win, win.....

Looks like the Desert Corvette Association is putting on a car show in Scottsdale on Sunday October 27th.

Here is the entry form.

Has anyone attended this previously?

Who cares how much they charge? The money goes to the Children’s Hospital. I park in the same area I used to and it still costs me nothing. I walk past the same cars and owners I’ve seen before for free. My underwear is not twisted if a small group of exotic cars paid to park together.

I did. Some very nice cars there. I was fortunate to win the 50/50 raffle as well as Best In Show in the C7 category.

My entry:

This was the top prize winner and very deserving. Man, to have this as a driver would be a dream:

Lambo Doors:

Seen this one before, stunning:

Nice C1 Resto-mod:

Look at this wing:

And some come with dirty wheels (I see a brake pad debate looming):

Ron Fellows:

Sweet '67:

There were other Chevrolet models there as well. Good times, nice folks.
