Arizona Corvette Cruise for Cancer (a little long but please read)

I am a member of the CorvetteForum of Arizona also known as ACE (Arizona Corvette Enthusiasts), I also have prostate cancer.
What I am starting to do is organize, what I hope to be, a rather large charity event on Sunday November 11th, Veterans Day weekend. The event is going to be a parade lap around the Phoenix Valley area. Ending up with a car show. I am inviting any of the clubs within the Pheonix area to participate. So far I have received very positive responses from the presidents of Desert Valley Corvette Association and Sun Country Corvette Club. I will be attending their up coming meetings to start looking for participants. I should point out here that I am in no way asking for any donations from any club or club member. What I am looking for is a large participation. Donations are, hopefully, going to be funded by corporate sponsors based on the number of cars entered. I will, once I have a commitment list approach corporations asking how much they are willing to donate per car. All proceeds are going to be payable directly to the American Cancer Society to be deposited in an account for Prostate Cancer. I am not doing this for personal gains or recognition, but rather for the research, development and awareness of early detection and cure. The idea that this is old man's disease is no longer true. It is striking males at a younger and younger age every year.
I have been in contact with the Maricopa County Sheriffs Department and the Phoenix Police department and there should be no problem in having a police escort in front and behind the procession as well as blocking side roads along the parade route to keep all of the cars together.
I have also started talks with a local restaurant that has a rather good sized parking lot to host the event and what they will provide for the event.
I have also contacted Senator John McCain's office and am awaiting a reply from someone on his staff. If I should be able to get an endorsement from him that would be a great benefit for the charity. All politics aside as also invited him to take part as the Grand Marshall should he be willing and his schedule permitting.
Hopefully this will be the first of an annual event that will be good for the whole family.
With any luck there will be an enrollment application that will be available on line, that once filled out will be sent directly to me. I will update this post when that information is available.
One thing that I may be looking for is if there are any printers in the North Phoenix area that would be willing to donate the printing of flyers, applications, and possibly a banner I would appreciate the help. That should be all that I will ask as far as a donation from anyone on this forum goes.
Again my goal here is to be able to see a couple of hundred Corvettes all nose to tail traveling together. I think that it could be a real fun event. I have received nothing but positive responses from all that I have spoken with about this so far. But before anyone will commit a donation they would like to see just how many cars are going to participate. So you will see the application coming soon asking you to please sign up. The more cars the more money I hope to raise.
Thanks in advance

Looks like I'll be traveling to Phoenix for another cruise...
I'm also planning on attending the Corvette Forum event in October.
