We need to pick a time to do a One Lap around Houston on the Houston AutoBahn (Beltway 8 ). Not at AutoBahn speeds. More like legal speeds, but we need to line up a bunch of Vetts for the One Lap

Have to have the EZtag as a pre-requisite or we'll spend all our time waiting at toll booths. I have send my form in for one, should have it back soon!

Snowman's right. Eazy tag is a must Then we can all cruise thru in slow formation.

I'm game, sounds like a blast.

As for posted speeds, I'll drive slow if you will .

I'm in for it. Perhaps we can make it interesting by picking a couple of spots on the lap to stop and tell lies about how much HP we have, how fast we've driven, and the like. Put me on the list. I have an easy tag for one of my other cars, need to get one for the vette - probably need a week or so notice.

I'm game. Like Jim's idea for pitstops along the way too.

Best day for this is Christmas Morning. There is a group of Porsche owners that do this every year. Last year I got passed by this group at about 6:00 am and they were doing well over 100 mph.

Looked like fun, too bad I was close to my exit.

If you all keep it legal then you will be causing a traffic jam with the people trying to pass.

Not a problem for me if we cause a traffic jam. It is about time that traffic jams in Houston had a purpose.

HWoods - The way I see it, the guy with the idea gets to run the show. I'd be glad to help organize this - in an informal way. I have some ideas on start and finish, and possible stops - e-mail me and let me know what your ideas are if you'd like some help on this. What time of day? Start/finish spot? breakfast? lunch? dinner?

I'm game for one lap around Houston. Always game for Hooters. Maybe one of the stops could be the Hooters at Gessner and Westheimer just off the Beltway.

It will be hard to keep up if you don't have an EZ Tag, my wife was supposed to go pick up another one for my car today, but she did not do it, and I don't think they are open on Saturday
