Me and Eric had really good experiences with APE as did many people before this current mess. I don't apologize to anyone for what I posted because it was a factual account of what happened. All you did was bandwagon once things started going bad. I don't know what happened at APE that caused the current situation and I hope everyone can somehow work things out, but unless you have psychic powers and can see the future maybe you should STFU and not blame people who actually did business with APE and had good experiences.

First of all you don't know who I warned and when I warned them, there is a thing called PM's. I was warning people way before things got posted on LS1 tech.

I'm glad you had a good experience your one of the lucky ones.

Its clear you certainly don't have a crystal ball because I have been warning people long before this thread to be careful when dealing with APE, many are members of this board and can attest to it.

For the record I have NEVER done any business with APE and have never kissed Chris's "aze". I was cordial to him on this board in the hopes of getting Hogurt his engine, and let him know I was coming to the shop to be sure it was sent to him. FWIW I am pretty confident that if I would not have gone out of my way to get to their shop Hogurt would of been another one in the LONG line of people who are screwed.

I seriously doubt APE will work things out thats what the courts are for, their dyno is gone, they can't buy parts and the doors are locked with a eviction notice on the door, all these are facts.

It wasn't necessary to possess mystical powers to see this coming, I am local and pluged into the race community so have a pretty good idea what is going on with the shops in the area.

My comments wern't directed towards you or Eric but others that know who they are.

As for STFU, don't count on it.

Mike

Very well said Mike, I myself almost went with AP for my shortblock, than decided to go with Mike Jones at Scoggin Dickey they been around longer than I've been living and they are great to deal with.
I'm very sorry to hear about all the people that are getting screwed, but I would think that if they paid for with A major credit card they should be able to disputed it and get A refund? Not real sure but I would try. Good luck.

[QUOTE=

I suggest that this forum opens a Sponsor Feedback section like LS1 tech so everyone can communicate better and possibly eliminate this situation from occuring again.

Everyone understands shops are going to have promoters and detractors but I feel there can never be to much information to review good and bad before we select where we are going to spend our hard earned money

[/QUOTE]

Let's see it Troy. With all the shops that have screwed people over, let's try and keep everyone honest.

For those that don't know where to find the info......

This is a complete lie.

The mods and admins over at LS1TECH only locked threads that were none productive bashing fests and trolling. The ones that were edited were for excessive language or physical threats. Pro Stock John(John Ryan) has been trying for the past few weeks to get customer issues with APE resolved he spent hours of his own time contacting APE to get updates. He was lied to by Chris and then up and shut down the business. No other web board I have seen has had their owner(s) go out of their way to try and get customer issues resolved and unfortunately is never truely appreciated.

FWIW- Pro Stock John is a standup Guy , I've known him for 7 Years now and as a friend and LS1tech administrator he always hears both sides of the story before he intervenes and puts his Authority into the matter. He helps People out alot.

I am one of the moderators at LS1TECH so I know what went on. Nothing was hidden or were we trying to protect APE we were trying to keep order and get a resolution. Pro Stock John's motives were not to protect his sponsors but rather to get APE customers problems figured out and resolved.

That sounds really nice. I'm sure the customers who are out thousands are tickled that warnings were deleted because of profanity. At any rate, I'm done with this thread. Feel free to PM or email me if you want to chat. I'm a former APE customer BTW.

Phil,

The deleting and censorship proceeds the demise of APE. Customers and others with intimate knowledge of the operation had been attempting to "raise the flag" for atleast 6 months. It goes back to Jim Hogan and others. PSJ certainly appeared to have a hidden agenda and if you would like some additional info pertaining to PSJ's actions you can call me.

If there needs to be a discussion of what did and didn't occur at another Internet site, the discussion should be held at the Internet site involved or taken to PM or e-mail.

Thanks for your cooperation. BTW, I've received no response from the folks at APE, nor have I heard from any Forum members who failed to get what they paid for.

If you are aware of any Forum members who got stuck in a transaction with APE, let me know who they were. Thanks.

I'm disappointed to have 5-6 guys I know send me this link. mdhmi, why don't you email me a contact number for you and I will call on Monday. I will be calling from Chicago. You blithely generalize and most of what you posted in this thread about us or me was incorrect. But we can just talk in person and stop perpetuating halftruths and rumors.

Out of major respect for Troy, I am not going to rebutt any of the points made in here by mdhmi or this other guy who I don't know. We will keep it off your site.

Take care... We did establish a separate subforum for the APE complaints so if folks want they can use it.

Good luck to all, it's hard to help customers when the shop owner lies to me over the phone and is in denial.
