Default Some Vendors will never Learn....

Guys,

Just like you,i love to buy from our suporting vendors,i love to give them a chance to sell me something, because they are a part of our comunity at CF.com

How ever i do not agree with some things, and excuz me for being arrogant and bringing this up,and at all times keep in mind that what i will say has absolutely nothing to do with money!

First of we had one of the new Forum Vendors make a very good sygestion of making stickers/decals and some badges for our C6's.

Right away i was one of the first members to jump on it and say,hey this does look cool i want it.

After a while the forum Vendor anounced the prices,21$ per emblem+4$ shiping!keep in mind that no one had an issue with that, untill the point where people were ordering more than one badge and were charged 4$ for each aditional item.

No where it said that they will be charging you aditional 4$ per badge, even doe that badge is what about 10 grams?and it is going to the same address,in the same package???

I have pointed this out to our Forum Vendor and he apologized and said:
------------------------------------------------------
Hello sir, we are rethinking that after we evaluate, how muich packing, mailing, and labeling will cost. I will post to all that $4 will cover all shipping. 1, 2, or 3 emblems.

Thanks for your input.

---------------------------------------------------------

Wow,i tought, what a service, and on top of that i managed to save a few bucks to my fellow members, but then after 20 minutes i get another message!!!
-----------------------------------------------------------

Hello sir,

I spoke with my partner, and he said he doesnt agree, we should charge double shipping for the metal emblems. But since you already paid, Please dont worry about the extra cost. Many, Many others have also done the $46. I hope you will keep your order. Im sorry for the confusion.

Michael

---------------------------------------------

Ok i think that's enough,i do not see how shiping charges have anything to do with the production cost!AS I STATED in two of your posts!

I hate to know that just because we drive "pricey"cars people need to take advantage of us....

Well Dear

Supporting Vendor

I will be requesting my money back via pay-pal from you today,i do not need to have any of your badges or decals,i will gladly wait to give my business to someone who apreciates what he does and does not need to rip people off!!!You are a Brand new forum Vendor and i would have expected more ......

BTW.You do not even have the emblems or the decals in stock, everyone who sent you MONEY did so solely on trust basis,we trust you to provide us with excellent product,(which we have never even seen on an actual photograph/car)and most importantly excellent service.

I wish you luck!

Sounds like the 4 bucks on multiple ordersis a personal bonus for his bottom line. The expense of the shipping material and addressing the package isn't doubled. I will be happy to retract this statement if shipping for two costs $4.00 more than one.

That said, nobody really "needs" these things. If you feel ripped off, don't get any!

And i will be cancelling my order, this is about the principal and not the 4$,but hey c'mon we are suposed to be a family here right?so look at the rest of the 100 forum members that have ordered 2,3 or more badges, and then see how much money was given away for NOTHING,the money would have been much better spent at a charity than paying someones bonuses as you stated!

Just a question if he would have said 25 shipping included would you have bought it? I think his approach was poor but many still would have bought his product. I am a business owner and it is more about packaging and apperance than making the customer feel screwed just my two cents.

Do these guys sell the red "R" emblems also?

I'd really like to make my C6 a type R so I finally get some respect from the kids in the Hondas.......

No the $4 extra is what we determined from the start not figuring anyone would order two at a time. And to be politically correct. As a start up company, there are costs, fees, mailing prices, setup fees, tooling fees, and actual product fees, so once you calculate all that in in comes to a near perfect at these prices. And for metal emblems these prices are a bargain from recent research. See my other post about shipping.

Dear Chad!
If the prices were set differently from begining on there would be no confusion would it?

If you say the price is 21 per emblem and 4$ for shiping, why am i paying $4 for every emblem that i order,i'am not distributing these to my neighbors i'am ordering them for my self,to be delivered to my address! If i'am going to pay you $4 shiping for each emblem,am i expecting X amount of different packages to come to my house?if NOT why paying so X amount of $4 for each emblem that is being delivered to the same residence????

And BTW!
I'am a business owner too!that's why i reacted like this!
If the Shiping and handling costs are too much for you as a business owner to handle, based on the product that you make and distribute then either raise the price of the product,or find cheaper packiging suplies!it is called small business solutions, you work arround problems....anyhow

You did not expect more than one emblem to the same customer???
even so,it is common sense to charge once for shiping ...or a flat shiping rate like you did after wards, after a few people asked about the shiping charges....i understand your expenses and you starting the business, and i was more than willing to give you some, but first you send me a PM saying that you agree with me,and then after 20 minutes you are sending me another to say that your partner disagrees....looks like you have too many Chiefs and no Indians over there

Anyhow as i said before!
Best of Luck to you, from the bottom of my heart.

I have no problem refunding your money. Just let me know your name and email, and I will send you a refund. Its not that hard. If you still want them, and you paid $50, i will refund you the $4. Im easy to work with.
