Default Seat Belt Restoration

I wanted to inform anyone interested in or requiring restored seat belts that they should utilize the services of Charlie Santorelli - Sting Ray Sity (908) 719-2354. I had Charlie refurbish / rebuild seat belts for my two (2) 1966 Corvettes. Not only did he do an excellent job, he was extremely helpful in providing me information about the fact that during 1966 the seat belts in the early production vehicles were different than at the end of the production run. Being a new comer to the restoration portion of the Corvette hobby he could have easily misled me, but he did just the opposite; he provided me with honest, to the point, information so that I was making informed decisions. I highly recommend you use Charlie for any seat belt restoration needs you might have. I was extremely pleased with the results I had.

Default Charlie at Seatbelt Sity

Charlie did my vent windows for me. They came out like new. Besides, with that NJ accent, Charlie reminds me of every kid I grew up with in Brooklyn. Jerry

Charlie did a great job on the full restoration of my 63 belts. Not a real chit chatty guy, but hey, I needed nice belts, not chit chat !! I would not hesitate to have him do anything for me again !!

I spent a couple of years piecing the components of my late 63 belts together, but I had Charlie stitch them together. He did a perfect job and I couldn't be happier with the results.

If you need ANYTHING in the way of Corvette seat belts..call Charlie!!

Better call him directly. It depends on year, color, and condition of your existing belts.

Your NCRS judging guide explains this (and the VIN where it changed).

Default Early 62 seat belt restoration

Charlie Santorelli of Seatbelt vSity (908-719-2354) was recommended as the best. I can now vouch for that. The belts and parts look like new. Price was reasonable ($570) and the time involved was 6 weeks. Charlie knows his stuff, and his work is excellent.

Default Charlie at Seatbelt Sity still does great work

I want to thank those of you who posted on your experience with Charlie Santorelli from Seatbelt Sity. I contacted Charlie based on your feedback and can add to the positive comments. He took the time to talk to me about my car to get a good feel about what level of restoration was appropriate and provided several suggestions and possibilities.
I am thrilled with the work he did, he brought the belts back to life. The man knows his Corvettes, and its pleasant to deal with someone who does this out of passion.

He can be reached at 908-719-2354
