Why not just keep your cores and rebuild them for future use or resale
6cs68, most here upgrade when replacing thier calipers. Going to the Oring and Stainless sleeved calipers which are less prone to leakage.
Also for the time and effort+parts involved it's cost effective to just R&R.

well, apparently, Fastcorvette was actually bought by this new guy. so essentially there is nothing of Fastcorvette in this new company except some of the stock.

Should have just gone to AutoZone!!!!

And no, genius, I do not work for them!!

By the way...Genius...Did you make a deal with the Duntov family for copyright privalages??? I will be emailing them next!!! Get your lawyer ready!!!!

Uhhhhhh - Actually they DO Have Permission from the Duntov Family to use the "Duntov" name - if you had bothered to do the research - check out their website Duntov is not FastCorvette. I believe "Duntov Motor Company" acquired FastCorvette. So lets not knock DMC just yet.

Their website is: http://www.duntovmotors.com/DMC_AboutUs.htm

Permission granted for the use of the Duntov name can be found here:

http://www.duntovmotors.com/DMC_AboutUs.htm under the "Our Team" information. Elfi is the wife of Zora.

I guess I'm a witness for the defense.
I've bought a boat-load of stuff from them over a several month period and never had a minutes trouble

This is not the same company. There is not a single employee here that worked for FastCorvette, other than me while I trained to take this over. Yes my old man started this business before handing the responsibilities over to a management team. I do my absolute best to keep my customers happy and I stay on top of situations like this. I have paid people based on only their word in some situations to make things right. I either build or inspect every part that leaves this shop. We might be very small, but we have some really cool stuff going on here. Give me a shot, you wont be disappointed.

I didn't stay at the Holiday Inn-Express and, therefore, have no expertise on the difference between fastcorvette and duntov motors or whether duntov bears any responsbilty for fastcorvette.

I do know that this appears to be an unresolved dispute and, as such, the thread can be shut down now that parties on each side of the issue have posted their version of the facts:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1118161

I note there are a number of people in the thread who do not have first-hand information about the dispute in question, so they appear to be in conflict with the above-referenced rules.

I should point out that hostility and personal attacks also are in conflict with Forum rules:
