Default Rear valance repair

Would you consider this a correct way to repair this? Keep in mind this was repaired using Gorilla Glue !!

Is that crack all the way through? If so toss it. Are the lights salvageable?

Not good. I would suggest looking for a new one if this was mine. Back in my stupid days (before joining here) I bought one that was not as bad as this and it cost me twice as much to make it right. Just my 2 cents. Is this original off your 68?

Lol .....
Beleive it not no .....
I purchased this part from a Conman none of this was disclosed before hand the pics he sent to show the part before the purchase did not show any of the above issues!! 3 or 4 days after the purchase was made I sent a follow up text asking for tracking info. The clown proceeds to tell me he found a small crack in it and he wants to fix it before sending it out to me..... The small crack is a complete break all the way thru!! The only thing holiding it together now is the Gorilla Glue!!!

That is just plain ridiculous! I certainly hope the seller gives you your money back or I would call him out!

Hi AJC,
The photo of the repair taken from a couple of feet away doesn't look too bad.
It probably looks just fine from a couple of miles away!!!
Regards,
Alan

The seller is actually coming up with every excuse under the sun about how rare the part is and that's an easy fix!!Wants me to send him the panel back on my dime. And eat the shipping cost both ways!!!

you need to "out him" and get the mods involved so no one else buys anything from him

Hey Tony, now what! I know you were waiting to see what happens before you made this post. I think you were very fair to this point. Might as well let the forum know who it is in order to help others. Don't blame you, you should not have to beg for your money back.
