Default Dr. Rebuild buyer beware his charges

I had recently posted a question about the radiator drain hose here on the Forum. Well Dr. Crazy responds on the NCRS site because he knows he will be flamed here after years of bashing our Forum, yet apparently he continues to troll this site without the guts to participate . He did not like it that the thread pointed out that a $3 hose actually costs $35 to order per the info below which is from HIS website under "company policy" and was dumb enough to publicly acuse me of making this up. I did not criticize him, I merely pointed out what HE lists as the cost. He then launches a personal attack and disagees with what HIS WEBSITE SAYS. How does a sane person do that?

How can you disagree with what is in writing on your site numb nuts?

We have so many great vendors to choose from like CC, Paragon, Zip, Willcox, LIC ect.... I know I would never buy anything form him after that, you be the judge. $35 for a $3 hose

I bet a length of hose at FLAPS would cost under a dollar.

Is the issue that you feel the shipping charges in his stated policy are high in your opinion ? Or that you brought it up in cyberspace and he commented on it ?

Or both ?

I've seen some pretty incomprehensible shipping charges from more than a few vendors; Ecklers is one and they are 50 minutes from me...

I read the same thing you did on the NCRS forum. The shipping value you used was from a 6-7 year old html page at his old web site - that did not have a web store and is no where near current. It says .01 to 20.00 add $14.95 for shipping

Regardless the arithmetic you calculated was still flawed. Adding the $3.00 part to the range of shipping $20.00 and then to the $14.95 shipping rate to arrive at $3.00 + $34.95 is completely erroneous. You’re simply not reading the chart properly. Never mind it’s from years ago.

Anyway I read they never shipped orders less than $20.00 & it says so right in that chart – but Corvette Central will.

I don't understand the math in the OP, either.

I think we are done here.
