This Joshd413 sold me trunk irons 2 days ago via pay pal for 800 bucks. tried texting him for the last 2 days after he received the money no response. Then found out this morning he was trying to sell them to another forum member. Don't know what to do

Joshd413 has zero feedback, and has been a member on Ebay since April 10, 2017. According to Ebay, this member is from Massachusetts.
OP, file a claim with Paypal. Given that this is a relatively new Ebay ID, and with zero feedback, I would suspect that you will not get the parts.

OP, file a claim with Paypal. Given that this is a relatively new Ebay ID, and with zero feedback, I would suspect that you will not get the parts.
