Boardwalk did not disclose material information

Boardwalk's Facebook page says Sorry, this content isn't available right now
So then I sent them an email message (and chat) asking why they were screwing a Corvette enthusiast whose plight is receiving thousands of views on the very popular Corvette Forum.com.
Others should do the same....

I guarantee the dealerships or GM legal counsel threw a fit when the sales lady that was posting here admitted they changed the engine, and that several people knew about it. Guaranteed. She should have kept her flapping trap shut.
As someone who has been plaintiff and defendant on many different occasions, I was floored when she posted that. Like a bank robber who leaves his picture ID in the vault, an epic blunder to say the least.

I am retired now but I have over 20 years experience in dealership management with Chevrolet/Cadillac. Let me give you an example of a problem I had experience with this, was back in the late 90's, we had a new 96' Corsica on the lot that the paint actually
started peeling off I mean every panel of the car, this was a car that was shipped to us from the factory and had no previous paint work done to it. So knowing that the car was unsellable as is, we had our body shop completely strip and repaint the car. When we sold that car we fully disclosed to the customer what was done to the car and we also gave them a 5 year warranty on the paint, of course we had them sign a form of acknowledgement. The OP's dealership should have done the same to avoid "confusion"

I like and use this section of our forum often to see what’s happening with various vendors. But based on our forum rules, being in this section means that this thread will be closed because the vendor has already responded.

Good Luck
Probably won't hear much new on this till Tuesday or Wednesday cause of the holiday. So the debate continues, but I believe most feel that this is a real screw job... Like I said in post #285...
"OP should have the following options....
Return the car for a similar one...
Keep the car and get the 100,000 mile extended warranty, and the report cleaned. And receive $15,000 for diminished value.
What would some one on this board pay for this car knowing ahead of time about the engine swap? A fair price may be $15,000 less..
Hope it works out for the OP, I think he has a good case here, and most certainly a big ethical decision for the dealer."
In the mean while, how can we help the OP?
email and phone protest the dealer?
activate an opinion poll on the forum?
start a go fund me?
get the site managers to boot Boardwalk?

Those that wonder why the thread was moved here need to review the forum rules that you all agreed to abide by when you joined the forum. If you also wonder why your post has been deleted, again - read the rules.
I 100% agree that this thread needed to be moved to Transactions Feedback once the supporting dealer was named in the thread.
ls3zob is correct. Per forum rules, when the vendor has responded, the transaction feedback thread is closed. Either the OP or the vendor can ask to have additional comments posted if there is additional information.
Unresolved disputes/Vendor feedback
The Forum allows a factual post on an unresolved dispute with a vendor or another member once all efforts to resolve the issue offline have been exhausted. Then, the post must be factual and cannot be used to bash the vendor or the member. It should be posted in the Transactions Feedback section. Once the post has been made, it cannot be repeated in other sections or on other days.
Moderators will try to leave such threads open until everybody with direct knowledge of the issue being addressed has had a chance to provide their version of the facts. The thread must not become a running debate on the accuracy of the “facts” and may not deteriorate into an exchange of personal attacks. Neither should be used as an opportunity for speculation by those who do not have direct knowledge of the issue.
Once there has been the opportunity for the facts on all sides to be posted, the thread will be locked. It will remain in the database and will be available for review by those who are researching the topic, vendor or member.
The Forum is not in a position to monitor transactions or to determine the “true facts” in most disputes. Upon request, however, the Forum will try to intervene and mediate a settlement suitable to all parties in a dispute. When issues are resolved in the matter, it will be posted to the original dispute thread so it becomes part of the searchable record. We believe that is a more useful record of performance for potential customers than would be an eBay-style rating system.
As has been our past practice, members or vendors who show a pattern of unresolved issues will be removed from Corvetteforum.com.

Complaints, Suggestions & Questions
If you have suggestions for the improvement of the Forum, questions or criticism of the Forum or its moderation, you are welcome to PM or e-mail a moderator. Please do not use an open thread for such messages, however.
That would include, but is not limited to discussions about who has been banned and why.
The work on the Forum's volunteer moderators is difficult enough without having folks calling them out in open threads.

We have been communicating offline with VroomAB offline for the past week and have reached out to Boardwalk encouraging continued offline discussion aimed toward resolving this dispute. We can post updates to this thread from either party as we receive them.

Update
We reached out to Boardwalk Chevrolet and asked them to continue to work with VroomAB offline in order to find a resolution to this conflict that would serve the needs of all parties. As far as we can tell, that has not happened.
We have stayed in touch with VroomAB to check on the status of his dispute with Boardwalk and his response has been consistent. He hasn't gotten anything from them and believes he will have to lawyer up to find a resolution to the conflict.
Here are specific responses we've gotten from VroomAB:
1/12/18: They informed me of the extended warranty offer on Dec 22nd. Then informed me on Dec 23rd that they would send the paperwork via mail. Nothing received or communicated by them after that.
1/12/18: I have received nothing whatsoever from Boardwalk. Furthermore the GM district rep handling my case has informed me that they have not received information related to the repair Boardwalk performed despite multiple requests.
1/4/18: Thanks Jim. Still nothing from Boardwalk. Given their behavior throughout this process I am not confident that I am going to get anything from them unless there is some other forcing function that motivates / compels them to do so.
12/28/17: My initial ask was very clear - that I wanted the car replaced. I have not yet responded to their counter of an extended warranty as I am first consulting with an attorney on my options. In parallel, I have also opened up a case directly with GM.
12/28/17: The only communication from them was that they would be sending out details of their extended warranty offer sometime this week. I have not received anything yet.
12/25/17: What has struck a raw nerve with me vis-a-vis Boardwalk is obviously the lack of disclosure which resulted in not giving me the choice of deciding whether or not to purchase the car. Boardwalk is repeating this behavior by once again not giving me the choice of deciding whether to return the car or to take an extended warranty.
