My friend got his set through a vendor here, maybe they are big enough to have some pull.
The silver lining is that between us we have one good pair of 18x9.5's.

"In honor of jpee"
A tip of the hat to both EVRose and mcandrew67, as both Eric and David got there first. However, I put it all together rather "succinctly," if I do say so myself.
j/k guys---you are both correct.

with that being said, my previous set of track wheels were OE wheels knock offs. 18x10.5 repros.
one of those arrived bent. didnt know it at the time. until 2 shops told me one was bent. i mounted many sets of tires on them and raced them for over a year. never felt any vibs even at 140.
now would have they been smoother not bent?, probly. but it was never a problem for me.

Through no fault of your own, sounds like you're stuck holding the bag.
Man, I'd be so severely torqued-off I could spit rivets.
Checked for a way this wheel can be repaired/straightened?
FWIW once in a while a member reports hitting a pothole & bending a wheel.
Many times they're able to find an outfit who can fix it for a few bucks.
So, what's your next move?

No. I personally think it's highly unlikely that they bent the wheel. I think they arrived damaged from Forgestar, but that doesn't help you.
It sucks man, I hate that you're going through this. But unless you have the time and patience to fight with Forgestar, you're only other option is to get another set of wheels.
After this thread and seeing other issues with Forgestar (like extended build times and inconsistencies in the finish) I won't be a customer of theirs.

At this point I have no leg to stand on to fight them. Too much time has passed since I received the wheels. I just wanted this thread to be a heads up to people who consider ordering Forgestar wheels. Assume the worst and have all the wheels checked out immediately even if you are not going to use them right away.
I will see if the wheel can be fixed or if I have to order another wheel from them.

If the vendor will not replace, do the chargeback on your card. It’s business as usual between them and the manufacturer, as it should be between you and the seller. It’s not unfair, it just business.

Running a code 53, the merchant can chargeback the manufacture for defefective merchandise, and up to & not to exceed 540 days after the transaction processing date, on said defective merchandise (that’s how many recalls get started). It’s up to the manufacture if they want to spend the time and effort to win at arbitration.

I'm sure you can find a good wheel repair shop in your area.

Me I am about to order some wheels for my Dodge R/T Scat Pack... Not a Black wheel kinda guy. I plan to take pictures of the boxes and wheels when unpacked. Next I will put them on the car 1 at time and check the runout with dial indicator. If they are out of spec I will get video and send it to the seller. Plus I will use my CC.

Definitely sucks. See if you can still do the charge back. If Forgestar's attitude is really "we quality check everything 100% and never make a single mistake," that would immediately disqualify them as a company I would every buy from.

If you paid with a credit card see if they will help out...sometimes they cover stuff that you otherwise cannot get covered.
