Default Buyer beware of Corvette Mods

I purchased engine covers for my Z06 for 2500.00 and received the parts and they where damaged. I return per there instructions and it has been 8 months since I returned and they just give the run around. I have no parts and no money. I will be taking them to small claims court. I WOULD NOT BY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

I see you're a new CF member. Did you purchase from a CF vendor? If so, I can't imagine that they would want to see themselves here in a negative light and you might be able to use that to resolve the issue.

There are probably some rules about posts concerning CF vendors so you may want to review those if appropriate.

Why stop at small claims ? Cant you add in costs and expenses so as to push it into circuit court ?
Seems like once a week someone is on here telling a similar story about them.

If you are in the DFW area, they are located Just N of Saganaw off bonds ranch road. They are in a converted hanger at the small air port.

1st thing I’ll say is every time I read a negative post about corvette mods I’m surprised... Neal always was good to me when he was a forum vendor and I never had any issues with them. I only bought small dollar items though nothing more than a couple of hundred dollars but whenever I had an issue it was taken care of promptly and to my satisfaction.... that being said I’ve read to many negative posts to continue defending them... why small claims court though? It’s not like you paid in cash I’m sure. Just dispute the charges and end of story.you can show you returned the merchandise as per the tracking number and your all set.

I only had a few small transactions with them, but they are not a forum vendor anymore for a reason. Several have had bad dealings with them.

That’s unfortunate, and eight months is certainly unreasonable. Curious, if paid w/CC, why not file a claim?

You people understand disputes on credit cards have time limits. Usually at most 2-3 months after the purchase.
