So, parked my low mileage '99 6spd, shut it off, everything as usual. Next morning went out and got the column lock service message and sure enough, its locked up tight. I thought this had been taken care of by the first owner, but apparantly not. Called Compliance Parts, got Richard on the phone and we went over the specifics of the problem. He fired off a LMC5 and an Unlocker to me. Arrived in 4 days, from Cali to Texas. My tech came over this morning, had a few questions for Richard. Richard got on the phone with us. Extremely helpful, talked my tech through a rough patch. Eureka! All is well and the baby is back to being great again. Anyway, I'm aware that Compliance has garnered widespread praise for their product and the terrific attitude and the patience they display when dealing with their customers. I felt another slap on the back for those folks was due and truly earned. Seems to me that many, many companies could take a lesson or two in customer relations from the Compliance folks.
