Default Good work by Steve Hackel

Just got my wiper motor back from rebuild by Steve Hackel. Turnaround time was under 2 weeks, the price was very close to the ballpark estimate beforehand, and the job appears well done and professional. It will be a while before the project gets to the stage that I can actually install it but if everything else so far is any indication, it should be fine.

What looks like scratches in the pic is the clear plastic wrapped around it.

If you don't mind me asking how much for his service? PM me if you want. Also can you send me his contact information. I'm tired of buying crappy aftermarket wiper motors that just fail in less than a year with no recourse other than buying another crappy aftermarket motor that will just fail in less than a year........did I already say that????

I don't think I'm out of line to give the price. Before sending the unit I talked to Steve and asked for a ballpark estimate. He said midyear motor rebuilds usually run about $250. Mine was exactly that plus $25 to ship it back. I felt that was a very fair price, especially looking at it after he was done.

He was good about returning my calls, and very knowledgeable. I'm not getting a kickback and I'm not related to him, it's just refreshing these days to see work done right the first time and at a fair price.
