The long shiny stud is the on the regulator I took out and the short one is on the regulator they shipped.
It will not go through far enough to attach the nut.

I had this happen before, so I just started doing business with the larger and more established companies. I may pay a little more but I generally have no problems.

can you not press out both studs and install the old one into the new regulator?... if they are unwilling to take it back it may save you from having to buy another one and if your credit card company takes care of it even better
