Good things to say about Corvette Central. Called them yesterday morning to ask if an “in stock” product really was (as opposed to them having to order it and then drop ship it to me). Customer Service assured me it was, so I placed the order. Rep said it takes two days to process so it would ship Tuesday. Fair enough and I was satisfied with that. Well lo and behold I got an email late yesterday that it shipped (actually in the hands of the USPS) yesterday and is scheduled for delivery on Monday.
We hear so many negative things with respect to order timing that I thought I would point out a positive one!
Corvette central is about 14 miles from my house. They have a huge warehouse, and if I am not mistaken also do production of various exhaust system parts at that facility? Either way, they are great people, the two times I went there I noticed over 20 corvettes in the parking lot where the employees park. They are true blue corvette fanatics, and I can say personally their c4 door and targa seal kits are well packaged, come with decent instructions. And work well.
Follow up to my earlier post re Corvette Central. No question, everything I said about their customer service is true.
Now on to the part. Problem here is the "chrome" part actually was plastic. A little bit of back and forth but ultimately they agreed to take the part back and issue a full refund to my CC. Refund was supposed to include the shipping costs. It didn't. Choose not to pursue it any further. Will be wary next time.
I have purchased many items for my 73 restomod from Corvette Central.
I have received nothing but top quality parts from them and their customer service has been the best.
I can't say enough good things about my experience dealing with them.
