Yes the C6 wheels fit on a C5 but of course you have to change the tires as well

the offset of a C6 rear wheel is 79mm and a C5 wheel is in the 60's so, they will not fit properly

YES, no problem. However, the positive offset on the C6 rear wheels is greater, since the C6 body is narrower. A 1/4" hub-centric spacer is needed for proper track in the rear. Forum member vetterdstr used to run these on his C5 vert. Here is a picture of his car with C6 OEM wheels:

The calculation of offse tis relate to the width on a wheel. Just because you see 2 different numbers doesn't mean the wheel wont fit. The rear offset on the 2004 Z06 wheel is not the same as a stock wheel due to the two wheels being a different width.

A hubcentric spacer works fine even in drag applications. I know because I did it. My cousin's 2002 trans am is also running stock C5 wheels (from me) for 2 years now with spacers and he drives it like he stole it.

Don't take info from people with no experience.

A 1/2 inch spacer would be better since it will just about cancel the 14mm difference in offset (79mm-65mm) 'tween C6 and C5 wheels, putting the center of the wheel back where it belongs in the wheel well. The wheel will stick out nearly a 1/4 inch further than stock C5 because its a 1/2 inch wider - but who cares?

I hope this helps.

Yes with a slight rub on the rear inside. Use a 1/4" spacer to clear that. They will stick out about an inch all around.

The 325/25-20 is 26.3 tall whereas my 325-30-19 is 26.7 tall. This will give you a little more fender clearance.
