Default Another wheel question

I am going to be ordering 17x9.5 chrome zr1 wheels. My 94 still has the stock size tires. Will the p255/45zr17 stock front tires work ok on the 9 1/2 in wheels? The tires are coming off the stock 8 1/2 inch wheels...Thanks Will there be any handling differance in wider wheels on the front...(I,m sure this has been asked before but I searched and couldnt find the exact same question.) Thanks again....

The 255s will fit the 17x9.5" wheels w/o any problems. I personally did not notice any difference when upgrading to 275s up front from the stock 255s.

Yes, and it will be for the better.
I have put wider wheels on cars before (keeping the same tires) and the difference was noticeable...especially as you approach the limits.
