Z06 ON 96 lt4 ?
I want to put on chrome Z06 wheels
heres the thing....
I have a guy who i talk to and he talks way to fast for me so, I just nod and look like I understand
I get that there must be some kind of offset.
and it looks to me that the 17 x 9.5 sawblades on the rear of car will now be 18 x 10.5, thus requiring new tires? and I want 9.5s on the front ( are these to be 18.5's too?)
I would like to new wheels to fit inside, so what offset do I require?
and any recommendations on tires? San Diego arae?
my LT4 is lowered, will it need to raised for 18.5 ' s , I would not think so, but I am new to all of this.
just type slow and I'll hear you
thanks for any help...Matt

Stock Z06 wheels will fit your car perfectly. They are 17x9.5" up front and 18x10.5" out back. If you get aftermarket wheels it's possible to "upgrade" the fronts to 18x9.5".
As far as offsets stick with something in the 56mm +/- 2mm range and you'll be fine even on a lowered car.
As for tires here are my recommendations. 17/18 combo use 275/40/17 up front and 295/35/18 out back. 18/18 combo use 275/35/18 up front and 295/35/18 out back. Good luck!
