Default 18 X 10.5 Z06's on all four corners. What size tires??

I'm going to be running C5 oem Z06 18X10.5 wheels on all four corners. What size tires should I be running for HPDE's? I have one set of R888's in 305/35 for the rear. What about the fronts[275/35/18 295' 305's on all four(fitment)]??

I may use the R888's or might go Nitto Nt01's??

I ran Hoosier 305/30-18s on all 4 corners at a 2 day HPDE and didn't have any trouble what so ever.

Was that on the stock z06 wheels? I assume you had the traction control turned off? I wonder how the R888's in the same size would compare as far as fitment?

I just put on 315/30/18's on all 4 corners. no codes codes so far. I've been driving it for 3 days now just seeing what they are like on the street.

What tires are you running and I assume this is all on 18 X10.5's, right?? I'm guessing Kuhmo 710's which was what I had been planning to run until I found out it would bump me into the next class(unlimited) of racers for going from a street tire like an R888 or Nt01 to the Kuhmo's or Hoosiers.

I'm running the falken Azenis - picked up a set cheap and figured I would give it a shot. I'm already in the higher class because of a couple of my mods. I just like to have fun. One day I may get serious about it and either pull my mods off and compete in a lower class or go all out in the race class.

We've run Kumho 710s in 315/35x18 on all 4 corners of our '99 FRC for several years. We are using stock C5 Z06 18x10.5 wheels all around. No clearance problems and we are low, with lots of negative camber. Note, the fronts come very close at the leading edge of the wheel well, but do not touch.

I don't really understand the issue you're having with turning the TC off. How does it "turn the go fast pedal into mud"? Are you constantly spinning your rear tires?

I run 305s in the rear and have no issues hooking up in any gear but first, with or without the electronic nannies. At about 200hp over stock, it doesn't seem to be a problem.
