Default C5's w/Big Brakes

What wheel size and offset are you guys running? I'm running C6Z brakes now and have to use a spacer that I'm not crazy about.

Pictures are appreciated.

Similar problem here....have the C6 Z06 brakes on my '00 C5... and have gone through two sets of the POS Ace Z07 wheels....they last about three months before the chrome goes to hell......not a worse wheel on the market.

I desperately need different wheels (18") that fit over these brakes...and don't cost an arm and a leg......or come apart in a few months.

Anyone????

Good Luck. I got Wilwood 14" all the way around and trying to get rims to fit really sucks especially when you have a widebody like me.

In hindsight, I wish that I had just tubbed the rear.

It looks like 19" all the way around work with 305/19/30's and 345/19/30's

Now I just have to figure out what rims.

ajg seems like you're either going to have to go forged. As for the rest of you guys. Check out our site and let me know if anything catches your attention. www.corforged.com

i also have wilwoods all around. i went with ccw c140's, 18's on all four. i also did a minitub and put 345's mt on the rear. ccw c140's fit perfect. they have plenty of room for the big calipers.

Unfortunately I went with a wide body and not the tub, so C140's won't work. I need 19" rims and CCW doe not have too many for me to select from due to the widebody.

Once I get the car back together again, I'll see what's out there and go from there.

Check out LG Motorsports World Challenge wheels in C6/Z06 sizes. I have them on my C5 with the huge StopTech brakes and they made an offset that fit the fronts (18 X 10) fine and a (19 X 12) that fits the rear huge brakes as well! www.lgmotorsports.com and ask for Bobby! Hope this helps

So you have C6Z sized wheels on your C5? Sorry to ask, but do you have any pictures? I wanted to know how these would look.

My car is currently in the shop getting some body mods installed and painted, so no pictures at this time. Sorry, but they do look awesome!

Tough to find OEM looking wheels that clear.

I'm running 3/8" spacers upfront on 19x9.5" c5z wheels and dropping down to 18x9.5's. Wish I didn't have to run the spacers but didn't have any choice there was no way the wheel spokes could clear those massive calipers.

Check out those calipers almost up against the spokes with the 3/8" spacers.

Did you need to tub the rear to get the 12" wheels or widen the rear body ? Looking for options to use on the track that will take Stoptech's big brake (ST40/ST60) on a C5 Z06 with 19/18" and enable be to use 335 in the rear without modifying like tubbing.

335's are not going to fit under the stock fender without a tub or widening the rear fenders. You especially don't want the tires sticking out if you plan to track the car as it will sand blast the paint off your fenders.

All our wheels are made to clear big brakes. You just let me know exactly what brakes with dimensions, and measurements and I'll build you what ever you like ;-)
