What wheels are these?
I have had some hints that came close but still not quite sure.
Anyone know? They came on my 73 vette.
And does anyone know where to get 255 60 15 pirellis that came with my car?

They look a lot like a wheel that was discussed here a couple of weeks ago. I believe the opinions back then were either Gottis, or Etoiles, or American Racing copies of those two. Are they 3 piece, like a modular wheel, or 2 piece, with the center welded in?
255/60 Pirellis? Good luck!!

I'm pretty sure they are 2 piece with the center welded in not 100% for sure though.
The gottis look really very similar but I think I'll need to take the rim off and check the inside to be sure.
Anyone know where I can buy these even as replicas?

If they're one piece they're probably fake Gotti copies. The real thing was too expensive for these cars. Gotti became super popular in 83'-84' on C4's when they went to 16" as OE.
Genuine Gottis were available in either 2 or 3-piece versions.....they usually would have 16 true assembly bolts....later 32 bolts when they became the Etoile brand. If they are 15" its unlikely they are true, valuable Gottis. There were dozens of copies, American Racing was the main culprit. A true Gotti 3-piece center will have J55A [cast] on it. A 2-piece will have D55A cast on it. Gotti wheels were not forged and suffered many failures on high torque cars....mainly Porsche turbo at the time.
I'm kind of embarassed that I remember all of that.
If they happen to be the real thing... they are relatively valuable.

Epsion (spelling?) or something like that used to have a wheel that looked like this. You really should just pull one off; there's bound to be something on the backs that would give you a better id.

Yes it was Epsilon, they closed late 80's early 90's. They never had a "Gotti style" design that I know of. Gotti/Etoile closed also at about the same time... they were made in France ...pieces shipped to Cali and SoFla for assembly, etc. I sold many, many, mainly for Porsche and Corvette. I was with their East Coast mailorder distributor at the time.
