Default Wheel Cleaning Question

Hi All,

I have a '05 with the upgraded rims, anodized I believe (not sure what the exact terminology is for that finish). I recently had new tires put on and of course the wheel weights were placed in different positions on the wheels.

My question is: what can I use to remove the old adhesive without damaging the finish??

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

You can start with a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and water, increasing the amount of alcohol if it is not coming off. Use a soft terry cloth towel and some elbow grease.

If that doesn't work (and it might not) use a sparing amount of Goo Gone on a terry cloth towel.
