Pic/Experience request: 275/40/17 on an 11" whee

Anyone done this? It's the max recommended width for a lot of the tires ive looked at. It's gonna be on the front of my C5 I just don't want it to look too stretched

i did this with my rain tires on a track car. Would not do it on a car where appearance counts. Stretch was more than obvious.
