Default C5 tire size increase

Hi fellow Vette owners. I have a 2003 50th Anniv Edition. As you know, the stock tires are 245/45R17 and 275/40R18. I'd like to go a bit wider on my next replacement, say 255/45 and 285/40. Will I have any rubbing issues up front with a 255? Thanks.

Nope...I run 295 of front on 10.5" wheel with +58 offset, no issues.

Thanks, greatly appreciate your response. Now all I need to do is pick the tires!!...Thinking about the Nitto NT555 G2's. I don't drive hard and they seem to be a very good value price wise. I've had Hankook Ventus v12 evo for 5 years and really happy with them, but from the research I've done they don't make a 255/45-17 or 285/40-18. Thanks again.

<br />

IfIf you get a chance take a look at cooper rs-3. Not sure if they make those sizes but the bang for the buck is second to none!
