Default Bridgestone RE-11's or Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's?

I upgraded the engine on my car recently, and with 460 hp at the rear wheels, I'm having trouble keeping the tires from spinning, even in 3rd gear. I'm running 325/30 R19's on the back, so initially I thought the Michelins were my only option. However, this morning a pair of the RE-11's showed up on the Discount Tire site, and I'm wondering, which would work better for a daily driver/occasional drag strip/occasional autocross/drive the back road twisties every weekend type of use?

FYI, the replacement for the RE-11's, the RE-71R's, don't currently come in 325 width and the 305's are a little small for the rims I have on the car.

Just FYI though, those RE-11s aren't made anymore. Discount tire says they are out of stock and tire rack says they only 1 one. :-( I run RE71R's in a 305 square setup for autox, and they blow away the stock Pilot Super Sports on my C7. I'm on the east coast so when the weather is in the upper 40s-50s the PSS just suck for traction and the RE71rs even though they are narrower have way more traction.

Yeah, I got the last 2 RE-11's this morning from Discount Tire. NTB still has some, though. I've been running the RE-11's now for a while, and was just wondering if the PSC2's were any better. Particularly drag racing as I haven't taken my car to the track since the heads and cam install and I don't go often enough for a dedicated set of drag radials.

I would think the RE-11s are gonna be better for drag racing as the sidewall is softer, or unless you sit there and really heat up those SC2s in the waterbox

What part of the east coast? Have a lot of friends up and down there from when I used to be in the Impala SS club.

Ah. I used to live in the DC area, but we used to meet the Jersey boys at Englishtown at least twice a year.
