Default Powdercoat Prep

I picked up a set of polished (no chrome, no paint) split spoke OEM C6Z wheels and want to do a matte black finish. Any tips, or things I should look out for when looking for a shop?
I'd like to do the barrels as well. I assume they will have to paint the caps to color match them? Or do they coat these too? Guess I need to buy some C6 flag emblems.

ANY CONCERN with annealing issues when they bake it in? Weakening of the metal?

Thanks

if the center caps are metal, then they can powder coat them to match but if they're plastic, you'll have to get them painted and not coated.

As for the wheels, they can just prep the surface since there's no clear coat on them. I would look for a shop that works mostly on wheels only.
