ROAD+STREET+RACE
A Performance Driven Wheel Brand
EST. 2015
Designed with spirited driving in mind, Road Street Race (RSR) aims to join performance and build quality with the styling standards of today’s market. What we’re trying to say is that not everyone can develop products that push the envelope, and that is what we aim to do on a daily.
Product development at Road Street Race is headed by Bill Koenig. Previously, Bill was the Director of Sales and Marketing for Carbon Revolution and the president/owner of Dymag USA/Rennworx LTD Inc.
At Carbon Revolution Bill was responsible for starting the brand in the U.S. and assisted with the testing development of the first commercially produced Porsche 19x9 & 19x12 full carbon fiber one-piece wheels.
At Dymag USA / Rennworx LTD Inc. Bill was the president and owner. There he was responsible for sourcing, testing and introducing Dymag Carbon Fiber / Magnesium wheels to the U.S. market.
Bill has constantly pushed the limits within the wheel industry. In 2015, he pushed RSR beyond typical standards releasing a centerlock monoblock Forged Magnesium wheel at SEMA. One year later in 2016, RSR would achieve its biggest accomplishment: the production of a 20x10” wheel weighing in under 17.5 lbs - the R981, which is still available for those who are interested in a fully custom magnesium wheel.
MAGNESIUM ALLOY
Magnesium alloy is an ultra-light material with enormous dampening power [10x greater than aluminum, titanium, or steel] making for the perfect track wheel. If you missed Track Wheels 101, the benefits of going with lighter wheels made out of magnesium alloy are:
- enhanced braking and acceleration
- improved effectiveness of the suspension due to reduced unsprung weight
- improved handling from reduced mass
Why go full forged over cast or flow formed (a.k.a. rotary forged, spun cast, flow forged, etc)? All wheels are not invincible. Forged wheels provide you the extra cushion for driving on the road, especially if you live in an area with tons of potholes and uneven roads.
A forged aluminum wheel has a higher specific strength as well as higher toughness (engineering term for its ability to absorb energy) in comparison to a casted wheel. This allows our engineers to design a wheel that is lighter, stiffer and less susceptible to cracking under impact and with better fatigue properties than a casted wheel.
FORGED WHEELS
- Lighter than cast and flow formed wheels
- stiffer and less susceptible to cracking under impact
- Stronger than multi-piece wheels
- Lighter than multi-piece wheels
- No seal issues as with multi-piece wheels

Hi Chad, I don't have any pictures yet. But I can make a photorealistic render to help you visualize.
I will have something for you by tomorrow.

Take a look at the following links. They contain all photography of the wheel (on and off vehicle).

It is because of the brushed finish and the way the light is reflected off of the surface. Under intense light, like the sun, the wheels are very bright and look silver. Under low light, the wheels appear dark. This is also due to the clear coat of gloss diffusing some of reflections.

A few super aggressive, potentially unrealistically stanced, C7 Z06s on our R902s. Both are brushed finishes, one with a smoked clear (standard finish) and one with a bronze tint (custom).
Again, if you want to see what your Z06 or corvette would look like please share the details and we will try to get something your way asap.

As for the center caps, we only offer the metal cap with the RSR Forged logo machined into it. I recommend looking into having a custom set machined through a local shop.

What size tires do you recommend on the z51 set without rubbing? I have the stock tires on a set of these and they’re stretched. It looks like if I go wider I might rub on fenders.
