C5 thin spoke or magnesium strong enough for track use?
2000 C5 with A&A supercharger. About 516 RWHP but might bump it up a little with a mild cam. I have my original thin spoke and a set of C5 magnesium. Are the thin spoke strong enough for some DOT legal road race tires? Should I go with the magnesium? Only do a few road course / drag race events a year so I'd like to avoid the cost and storage of more wheels and tires.
