Anyone here polished machined finished wheels? The wheels are unpolished machine finished aluminum. I would like to do this myself and am curious what the steps and materials will be

I'm gonna be trying this on some powder coated wheels pretty soon. Cheap used truck wheels that doesn't really matter if they get messed up.

Posting GOOD , Close Up Pics of these wheels would sure HELP ME
conclude what my advice to YOU would be....

My initial thought is that you are going to spend countless hours
achieving mediocre results at best...........

Small portion, probably 5 mins with a drill and buffing pad. In the middle it's a pretty much a mirror.

If mine I would have a Powder Coating Wheel vendor media blast with FINE steel shot
and then look for a VENDOR that could/would Tumble in a VIBRATORY "Shaker" Machine
with ??? Media......

This Solution is probably more than you want to deal with , but one of the only ways to
achieve excellent results
