Low and behold i found something frustrating and to me unforgiveable. Upon removing the factory caliper i took notice of the pads. The top 1/4 inch of the pads had no wear marks......wtf. I then took a better look at the rotor, sized it up next to the C6 rotor and realized the error. Yup...... 12inches. Previous owner had the wrong size rotors on the front of the car.

I never had a reason to pull the calipers until now so i never thought differently of it. Seriously pissed me off. Anyway, the C6 calipers are going on, they seem to barely clear with the CCW Classics. Doug Rippie brake lines and bias spring were also installed. Transmission feels like it starts off in 2nd or 3rd gear sometimes, shifts are erratic at best. Very rough and herkie Jerky
Display says car is limited to 80 mph
After doing a small amount of research I orders a GM 12369458 Module Speed sensor. Diagram showed Module to be located up behind the right rear tire on top of the transmission. Was not able to locate the module where the diagram showed it to be

If this hose is removed, about how much coolant will be lost? Of course it would be done with a cold engine. Also, will there be a need for a full re-bleed procedure if just this one hose is removed? I attached a picture of the inlet pipe of the hose I am describing. It is number 2 on the attached picture. If there any are techs out there that can let me know the above answers, that would be appreciated!

The Fabspeed Valvetronic Cat-Back Exhaust System is the ultimate exhaust solution for the C8 Z06. It provides the same screaming sound that our Supersport X-Pipe exhaust has while also allowing the driver to quite the exhaust down using the factory exhaust loudness settings. It’s totally plug-and-play with the factory exhaust valve system.

Our design process started with 3D scanning the entire OEM exhaust system using our CREAFORM 700 Handscan so that we could make a complete Solidworks 3D model of the exhaust. We then designed the exhaust and fixtures using that model so that the exhaust fit perfectly to OEM standards. After multiple revisions for sound and dyno testing we decided to use our signature cast X-Pipe to tie the two cylinder banks together for exhaust scavenging and to defeat resonance. The valves are mounted to CNC’d plates that resist heat and keep the electronics working uder extreme conditions. The piping is mandrel bent from T304 Stainless steel, and we use ultra high temp heat wrapping to keep temps in the engine bay down.

Total Brakes has them one sale at a very nice price.. I find many comments about reusing hardware, new hardware not being available etc Looks like choices are limited to OEM or Girodisk which are complete with hat, or DBA rings. My use will be solely street, with hard braking from wringing out my recent engine out stage 2 build..

The silver ones have almost new all season tires and I like the style a little more than my OEM ones; however, I like the look of the black tires on the car.

For those that have powder coated your wheels, how long did the coating last? Were you happy with the results?

Wheels are straight and true, no cracks, bends or welds. Recently refinished and rebuilt, 2 new faces/centers, 2 new barrels, all new nuts and seals.
One of the rear faces has a spacer bolted to it, may need extended studs in the rear. Some minor imperfections present on the lips, see close ups.
I do have some lips and barrels to change specs. Welcome to test fit if local to DFW.
