2019 Z06 7 SPD - Gear Selection Message?
I have a 2019 Z 7 SPD, 5000 Miles
I changed clutch fluid and a new battery along with other fluid changes
Got a message on my dash - Gear Slipped?
What is this?
I did feel a slight grind between first and second earlier to this
I thought this was my fault, however I now think it might be connected?
Thoughts on both??

I've never heard of or seen a "gear slip" message from a C7.
If your car actually displayed this message I would assume it has to do with gear sensors.
If the car is shifting fine, I wouldn't worry about it, if its not, now you have something to worry about.

I've never seen or heard of the former, but the latter is normal behavior for our cars' Computer Aided Gear Selection (CAGS) system. (It's mentioned on Pg 18 of my 2019 Owner's Manual.)

Now that you are asking I am not sure, it may have said skipped
Message came on for a second only
I did try to replicate it and I was not able
Thoughts?
Reminder it is a 7spd and at no point did I use rev match

Not sure to what "message" you're referring, but the one I posted happens in M7 cars. It's pictured on an M7 Driver Information Center (DIC), where Pg 18 from my 2019 Owner's Manual clearly states the "1-4 Skip" function happens in "Manual Transmission" cars.
I can't speak to A8s, as I've never owned one.

Good catch. I bet that's it. The message doesn't appear for long so it might be hard to read when you've never seen it before.
