Well we have all read the debates about what to do to your heads but what heads do you guys think are better? Brodix, PRC, just having WCCH do your heads. Lets hear your opinions and power/torque gains from what you have

I like this thread, been meaning to post something so
Similar for a while..
I'm probably going to do the ported done up brodix heads w/ ti intake valves and ss exhaust valves and bronze valve guides.. Lookin to make 600rwhp, just made 565rwhp.
I've heard the Prc heAds flow a little more than stock heads and that ported ls7 heads would prob outflow the prc265s.. I don't know, but after talking to wcch he said he can port more on the brodix heads and it's a better casting then the ls7 head so I'll prob go with that.. Just expensive about 4500 w/ everything and new Che rockers
If you must have an aftermarket casting then I would probably go Mast 274's with 427ci. I would prefer velocity over volume unless I want more than 7.0 liters. Also a set of ALL Pro's or even those Brodix heads are pimp. Want to spend BIG money... MOZEZ and call it a day. But then you have to spend more on the induction and get a quality camshaft spec'd to your combo.
For ported option I really like the work coming out Advance Inductions and their ls7 head. I like their approach and repeatability of power production from head to head. The price is right too...
It's a crime that heads are flowed at 28" of and there is no mention of port speed from any vendors. Flow numbers don't mean much if your port is turbulent. I don't care what a vendors website says, put it on a flow bench and measure the flow and port speed yourself!
There will all work but you have to match all the components to put down as much as you can. Head flows don't mean a damn thing if the rest of the top end is not up to the challenge.
If you're truly interested in a set of likely the most powerful NA heads for a Stock LS7 shortblock, I will shortly be selling my Darin Morgan ported LSX heads that made 719 RWHP NA on my Stock Bottom End LS7 shortblock...you can PM for details...
