Default ‘92 White/White on BAT (w/ issues)

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...vette-zr-1-20/

not common. not pristine.

Carfax report shows multiple “Salvage Title/Certificate Issued,” “Flood Damage Title Issued,” and “Rebuilt Title Issued” entries.
shows 28k miles, although the Carfax report has two “Not Actual Mileage Title Issued” entries in 1998. Total mileage is unknown
Carfax report shows the aforementioned “Salvage Title/Certificate Issued,” “Not Actual Mileage Title Issued,” “Flood Damage Title Issued,” and “Rebuilt Title Issued” entries.

The Texas title carries a “Rebuilt Salvage – Loss Unknown Flood Damage” notation under the Remark(s) section
still….will be interesting to see how the bids go.

Random, but I saw in one of the photos the driver door lock register assembly was missing a factory painted torx bolt and replaced with what appears to be a general 10mm hex head bolt. Such a random fastener to compromise, but…wonder what else is compromised. Didn’t see a vac hard line traveling to the vac pump on the passenger side either, not that that’s an issue, if secondary delete.

I agree, it will be interesting to see the final sale price on that White/white Z ...

I love the Shinoda body kit. The ZR1 emblem looks like the C7 style ...

Default Shinoda

ZR1 emblem looks like the C7 style
I thought it looked out of place but I don’t remember the Shinodas clearly enough to be sure. I did find/google-up a Marlboro version with normal emblems as well as a yellow one here on CF …...

How many different Versions were "sanctioned" by GM? I think Callaway had a short run, late 80's to about '92 or so. Even though I have heard about the Lingenfelters and DRM black widows, along with the aerobodies and twin turbo "sledgehammer'...I do not know if they were affiliated with GM, but believe they were not. Are the Shinodas just an aftermarket thing or was there any connection to GM? Is Callaway the ONLY one to have gotten a RPO#?

Good question @TMStech

I _believe_ the B2K Callaway Twin turbo was the only one with an RPO

I'm pretty sure the Shinoda is "just" a body kit

Regardless, all of these special variants are special indeed

Someone with more knowledge will chime in.

Did anyone Google the vin of the white car, you would have found some info from the ZR1 net that was from a list of know totaled ZR1s.

That list has been scrubbed from their website now

A smidge of ithis nfo was posted to this forum years ago.

I think it did more damage than just got the carpets wet. Abs wasn't working and ASR ? what else?

Whoever fixed it didn't fix it right but I absolutely thought about buying it.

I must tell myself no no don't buy more ZR-1s

The *** rubs on that poor white seat tisk tisk.

9/6/05 1992 White/White 1G1YZ23J0N5800406 Flood totaled, it was a 30 minute fresh water flood that only got as high as the side moldings and wicked into the interior carpets

I sure appreciate that information. The world really lost a valuable resource when ZR1-net imploded.
