After seven years of ownership, it's time for this special Corvette to find its next owner.
This is a desirable 1973 Convertible, finished in an attractive Green over Saddle color combination. With just 59,000 miles, the car presents beautifully and is ready to enjoy immediately.
A previous owner upgraded the original engine to LT1 specifications with performance heads, solid lifter cam, aluminum intake, and a professionally rebuilt carburetor. A Tremec 5-speed transmission was also installed, allowing the car to cruise comfortably at approximately 2,200 RPM at 70 MPH.
The car is highly optioned with power steering, power brakes, power windows, tilt/telescopic wheel, air conditioning, and rear window defogger. Everything works except the clock, including the headlights, which operate quickly and evenly.
Recent maintenance includes a complete brake system service from the master cylinder through the calipers while retaining the original calipers.
In addition, I have all of the major original components which will accompany the sale, including the original transmission (believed M21), heads, intake manifold, camshaft, driveshaft, emissions equipment, and original radio components. A future owner could enjoy it exactly as it sits or return it to a highly original configuration.
