Street/HPDE Alignment Specs?
I've been doing some HPDE at Sonoma with my '15 Stingray Z51. It's been an absolute blast, but I don't think I can beat a 1:56.8 on my current All Seasons and stock alignment.
I'm glad I got the car with almost brand new tires (by tread wear), but the rears are Michelin PS3+ (date code 2620) and the rears are Michelin PS4 (date code 0324); both also run flats.
They served me well but those old fronts are holding me back after running them for three track days.
So I'm planning on getting some Continental ECS02's all around and get the alignment set up a bit better. 98% of my miles are still street, so Chevy's recommended track alignment is definitely too aggressive.
Anyone got some alignment values that worked well for them but didn't kill their tire in normal street driving?
Thanks!
Track Photo Tax:
Without the controller, drop the camber to reduce tire wear and keep the car more stable on the street:
· Front camber: -1.2° to -1.4°
· Front caster: +7.0° to +7.3°
· Front toe: +0.05° to +0.10° total
· Rear camber: -1.0° to -1.2°
· Rear toe: +0.10° to +0.14° total
· Rear caster: As close to 0° as possible
This is a more conservative street performance setup that still sharpens turn-in and reduces body roll compared to stock, but stays easier on tires without adjustable damping.

If you are looking to track quite often, just go to a track tire.
But to answer your question in regards to alignment, it depends on how much you track.
If your tires are being chewed due to track miles, just max out the camber to about -2.0 or -3.0. At least you will get your moneys worth.
If you only see the track once a year, i would keep it near stock, or as others suggested at -1.0.
Make sure you call ahead and find a shop that can properly do the alignment, as many will not even put their car on their lift, and others may lack the tools or knowledge.
Note: below -1.1 on my rears, and the toe would go out of wack. Dont know if the shop is incompetent, or thats just the limit of my car. I run -2.2 front, but will be moving to -3 if possible due to outer wear.
