The 360 spinout at highway speeds would definitely be something to avoid but does anyone else turn off traction control for spirited acceleration in first gear? On my Stingray M7 on onramps or when no one is around I turn off traction control but leave stability control on, and the extra wheelspin in first gear then going to second is pretty exhilarating with stability control keeping the car from spinning out.
Is stability control a C7 option? Must be. My C7 only has TC - traction control.
I've got two cars with TC. I punch OFF on em both at every start. Unless there's inclement weather. The Corvette is definitely capable of doing what you wrote though - in bone dry conditions as well.
The only problem with high performance behavior in ramp curves is encumbering an unexpected foreign material left by other vehicles. Think; oil, fuel, sand, or livestock hauler overflowing to the pavement.

It's similar to what they called "Active Handling" on the C5.
Basically, the computers can tell if the car is not doing what the steering wheel is telling it to do- oversteering or understeering.
The system can apply just one brake to get the actual direction more aligned with the commanded direction.
^^^ That may solve the puzzle as to why rear brake pads wear out so fast on my 2006 Mercedes-Benz E Class!
Under steering / over steering - interesting.
THX!
OK, for any central valley California drivers, take Highway 26 out of Linden out thru West Point to Highway 88.....some of the best driving I've ever experienced....no traffic, easy to keep a constant 50-60MPH speeds, enjoying posted 30 MPH corners at 60+ MPH, occasionally chasing some bikes thru the hills....rowing thru the gears....so much fun to let the GS be the GS....doesn't get any better! WOOHOO!
